| Dear asshole,
What the hell is your problem? I already had a crappy day and I didn't need your extra shit to deal with at 1:40 am.

| | So today I was yelled at by a crazy pregnant lady at the gas station because I made a call on my cell phone. I wasn't pumping any gas into my car and I was just walking by the gas pump. Note: no fucking gas was flowing. She thought I was going to blow up the whole station because of the myth that a cell phone at a gas station could cause the pump to explode. I wanted to tell her to watch MythBusters (part 1 and part 2 if anyone is interested) because that myth has been BUSTED. | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |
| The past few days were quite eventful.
Wednesday: It was the last day of classes! Finals are next week on Tuesday and Wednesday for me. Thursday I will move out and head back to Olympia for the summer. I ended up going to the end of the year biology picnic when all the cool biology kids get to hang out and eat free food! :P Later my housemates and I watched Casino Royale, again. I heart Daniel Craig as James Bond.
Thursday: Don't remember much of the day. I think I ended up sleeping through half of it. At midnight the housemates and I saw Spiderman 3. I thought it was better than the 2nd one.. but it could have been better. Bruce Campbell's role was the best part of the movie.
Friday (yesterday): It was an exhausting but fun day. My mom came up from Olympia to spend some quality time with me. :P We first went to the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium where I showed her the white-cheeked gibbons I was working with this semester for Animal Behavior. After the zoo we went to the mall and got some new shirts for myself. I also bought a strawberry banana peach smoothie with green tea. It was weird but yummy. I then met up with the rest of my family and watched a Tacoma Rainiers' game. The Tacoma Rainiers are a minor league baseball team and are the AAA affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. Even though I didn't know much about the team I was rooting for, it was a lot of fun. I ended up getting a free t-shirt that they randomly throw into the crowd from the field. It was a lucky catch. Too bad it's an extra large and looks like a dress on me. xD The Rainiers ended up winning (yay) and we were treated to a spectacular firework show. I then went back home and watched Kill Bill Vol. 1 with my housemates.
Saturday (today): I have been unmotivated to study for my upcoming finals. I have tried but always end up procrastinating... and writing long journal entries, like this one. I have also been unmotivated to pack, haha. I hate moving! >< | comments: Leave a comment |
| | Today I spent 6 hours in Seattle on a boat. I still can feel the side to side movement caused by the waves. I'm drunk without the alcohol. DAMN IT. | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |

| Today I had a rather weird conversation with a random old British man. I was waiting outside the sub for Wren as the guy came up to me.
Guy: Excuse me. Me: Yes? Guy: Do you know which way to the sea? Me: The.. sea? Guy: Yes, the sea. Me: *puzzled* Oh, Commencement Bay? Guy: Yes, the sea. Me: *turns to the left and points northwards, still puzzled*
The guy smiled, thanked me, and started walking in the direction I pointed. After a couple seconds I realized that he was going to try and walk the whole way. I guess I forgot to mention it's 6 miles to the "sea". o.o | comments: 2 comments or Leave a comment |
| Some updates:
- Hard drive decided to randomly die on me last week. I am now borrowing a computer from my family while my computer gets a new hard drive. It was depressing to think how much I lost that was on that computer (at least 5 years of photos, music, papers written). Of course none of it was backed up so I am trying to recover some of it through a drive recovery business that wants all my money. My parents are helping me with the price which I am quite grateful for. Hopefully it can be recovered. u.u
- I recently dropped one of my classes (Water Policy) which helps tremendously. The class was insane. I had to read 200 pages a night just for that class. Being a science major makes that difficult to do. x.x So I just dropped it. I will still graduate in time which is always good!
Looking forward to:
- Wren's annual "I hate valentine's day" party. Featuring Wren's "Broken Heart Cookies" and Areta's "Better Than Boyfriend Brownies"... plus Suicide Club, Battle Royale, and other thriller movies. xD
- Observing white-cheeked gibbons for 2 hours this coming weekend! x.x
- Sleep. I love my pillows.

| Dear housemate of mine,
Think before talking, please. What you said to me not only hurt me but caused me to waste my whole night in my room, alone and depressed. What made the situation worse is that it was in front of people I barely knew. You definitely hit a nerve to say the least. I'm sorry I wasn't able to join you downstairs later to celebrate your 21st birthday but it would have been embarrassing for me and I am sure awkward for the guests. I am sad I missed Wren's fondue and the other food I help prepare. I am sad I wasn't able to spend time with Maddo before she left for London. I am sad I am now an emotional wreck. My last relationship sucked a lot. There is a reason why I have been single for the past few years. Thanks for bringing up a sensitive topic.
Happy fucking birthday, love Sarah. | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |

Anyone send me this? o.o
Thank you mysterious nice person.

| The last six days have been terribly exhausting. I am not sure where to begin. Last Thursday a wind storm hit Puget Sound where I live. 1.1 million people lost power. My power finally came back tonight... that's six days without warmth and running water, since our water is powered by a well. One night it dipped below 30 degrees and I got sick. I still have a sore throat and a crappy cough. u.u
During the windstorm four trees hit my house. No one was injured. The holes are now patched up for the most part... large tree limbs are everywhere still.
My father told his brother (who lives in Texas) about what happened to our house and other houses much worse than ours. His brother's response: "It's not that big of news, it's not Hurricane Katrina". Thanks for your concern uncle. Love you too.
My aunt (on the other side of the family) got her power back a couple days ago. When we asked if we could stop by and take a shower... she said no and that she may want a warm shower. Yup, love you too aunt. Luckily my family and I knew of friends that had power that were able to lend their water. It's surprising how much family can suck.
I feel so detached from the rest of the world right now. It's December 19th and I just realized that Christmas is in six days. I haven't even started shopping for anyone yet. *sigh* I need a break from all this. | comments: Leave a comment |
| You know what sucks? The inability to sleep. I think I got a total of 2-3 hours of combined sleep last night. My brain would not stop thinking! I swear I was doing math problems in my sleep. I'm not even IN math!!! This is what stress does to me... I hate it.
Three papers due this Wednesday: Geology: I am going to call this done and hand it in on Wednesday. It's basically my rough draft with the first two pages edited. If I had more time I would put more effort in it... I truely would. (11 pages long)
Biology: This deals with my research project I've been working on for the semester. I'm going to try and finish this paper by tonight. This means I wont be online (if I am shoot me please). I also have to give a presentation on this topic tomorrow... so I probably wont be able to finish the paper like I want to... but I can try. :( (Pages: unknown)
Evolution: Haha.. I can tell you right now that this paper will be absolutely awful and I feel sorry for my professor that will have to read it. She thinks so highly of me right now.. wait till she reads the paper. There goes my grade down the shitter. The paper is on a book which I haven't even finished reading. Go me!! (Page limit: 7)

| Here are more photos that I took the day after it snowed. My school's campus is so pretty when it snows. :)

This field is usually where the soccer boys take off their shirts and "practice". The building to the right in this photo was my dorm when I was a freshman. Third floor, fourth window from the left... right next to the boy's bathroom. Good times.

Same photo as above but taken from a different angle.

My second home away from home, the library. This semester I have spent many hours within that building researching for papers. I hope it pays off.

This picture was taken in the courtyard of the science building. The glass building is new this year. It's a cafe that sells drinks, pastries, and other various foods. It's very convenient when you are a science major and spend hours within the science building doing research.

And this building is where I have my psychology and "idea of evolution" class. Woo!
The End. | comments: Leave a comment |

| It snowed!! And I have pictures to prove it. :)

My lovely car. Even more white than it usually is.

Snow = happy me.
There are more photos I took which I will probably put up later. But now I sleep. | comments: 9 comments or Leave a comment |
| Let's see...
I registered for my spring semester classes last week. I got into... Bio472 - Animal Behavior Psych274 - Developmental Psychology: Adolescence through the End of Life Envr322 - Water Policy Geol105 - Oceanography
Thanksgiving break was good but busy. Dad ended up putting rum and pineapple liquor in the cranberry sauce. The alcohol was later cooked off, of course. It was surprisingly good. Very nice change from your normal cranberry sauce. I also went to Guitar Center during the break and picked out a piano I want. It's very nice... 88 weighted keys, portable, and plays like a grand (almost). Also offered in this color. | comments: Leave a comment |
| It's interesting how much work can pile up all at once. On Friday I turned in a 10 paged paper for geology, Saturday morning I finished a 5 paged paper for psychology, and now tomorrow (and Monday) I get to write a 10-15 page paper for marine biology. They are all research papers so they are taking more time than wanted. >< Of course I am not mentioning the usual homework on top of the papers... heh. I did take a nice break and got two new Muse ringtones for my cellphone. Hysteria and Supermassive Black Hole. I'm such a fangirl. x.x
After Monday night I should be myself again. The last few days have been stressful for me. I am looking forward to seeing my family this week for Thanksgiving, especially my brother. I miss the kid. | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |
